I’ve got to hand it to these Sketchy Santas: They have an uncanny knack for turning the pain and misery of children into their own twisted form of amusement. This batch of Santas here just keeps the smiles going, no matter how bad things may look. Decide for yourself if that means they’re sadists or if they’re just being optimistic.

Revel, revel in the tears, Santa!

Apparently, only one person heard “Cheese”?

All things considered, I give this Sketchy Santa some credit for that ‘stache:

Maybe we have it all wrong. What if these Santas aren’t sketchy, but just plain goofy?

The holidays are a time for families to come together, to reminisce on the past, and to honor traditions of the past. It’s a time for putting aside conflicts and loving one another. In this case, however, it’s less love and more a mutual camaraderie in the face of a terrifying fat man in a suit. Check out these special siblings bonding over their Christmas woes!

These two are right to be afraid, this Santa looks a little too rosy for his own good…

Finally, a moment of agreement between these two…

It’s less crying, and more an act of radical communication, really.

These two, however, probably SHOULD crying given what they’re faced with…

With the Sketchy Santas season comes the season of crying and tears. For as long as parents have been forcing interaction between their children and tired, underpaid mall Santas, there have also been perfectly decent holiday photos ruined by the primal screams of the young. FUN FACT: If these pictures could talk, their combined screaming decibel level would shatter the glass in your computer monitor. So, just be thankful this isn’t a roundup of videos!

The best thing about a good cry is when you can convince your friends and siblings to join you. All the tears children, all of them!

And when the children are nearly identical, the effect is even more profound.

As something of a “crying children connoisseur” here, I do really like the “Bark at the Moon” quality of this picture:

And then again, sometimes the Santa fear only strikes the heart of one person in the picture. Awkward…
